Snow!

Haven't posted in a few days - just coming out from under the worst migraine ever. It started last Tuesday, and only started to lift yesterday. Even now, my head still feels tender, as if I've been partying all weekend - I wish! (By the way, Liz, if you pop in, can you let me know if you got your blog candy. I was posting it while in the throes of the headache so I'm not sure exactly where it went....)
Anyway, great fun all round today because of the snow. The babas went out for a play and here are the pics...

Is this the saddest pair of snowmen you ever did see??? But she made them all herself....
Stay safe in this weather and thanks for looking!

Some more cards

Here's a Valentine's card I made for a challenge over on the Craftsupplies forum. It had to be a non-standard opening, the word "love" wasn't allowed and it had to use a stamped image.
Here's my attempt!

And here's a card for a 90th birthday. I was asked to make it "holy" - I tried a few things and they all ended up looking like mass cards. This is what I ended up with. TFL!

More layouts - gone a bit nuts!

This is one I made for Sean jr. He was going through the album of lo's I've done and he was a bit miffed there weren't more of him. So this one is just for him!

And this is a page about Niamh's first ever ballet performance - what a proud Mammy I was! TFL x

Meabh's tear

Meabh's hair was in her eyes so I decided today was the day for a trim. She hates the hairdressers so I thought I'd do it myself. But, needless to say, she went ballistic. Tears, weeping, the lot.... Anyway, I eventually persuaded her to let me give her a quick trim, but not before I caught this photo. I think you should be just about able to see the solitary tear just hanging under her left eye... Honestly, that girl has drama in her soul!

First post of 2009 - finally!

Well, it's 2009 (and has been for 21 days, I'm such a bad blogger!). Anyway, belated happy new year to every one and I hope you all have a healthy and happy one. 2008 finished in a bit of a blur for all us Jevs. Niamh was sick from Christmas eve; she ended up on an antibiotic and even now is still a bit sad. Meabh was sick on and off, without it ever getting too serious. Sean ended up in Temple Street with a viral infection that attacked the muscles in his legs! Pretty scary, let me tell you. Thank God, all are doing okay now but Christmas was a bit of a washout in the end. Santa came and brought some fab pressies, but everyone was so unwell they're only getting to play with all the good stuff now.

By the time Christmas arrived, I had made almost 600 Christmas cards. I made and sold 532 cards, and donated some money to Temple Street from them - felt quite good about that actually! Still, I'm glad it's over - got a bit sick of Christmas images by the time it was all over.

Started the year making more wedding invites - one wedding already done, and I've 5 more in the diary, with samples still out there in the world. Hopefully it'll be a busy year...

Okay enough talking, time for some pics.
These are the pics I used on our cards

Here are four cards ordered for the same girl's 21st:

More pics to follow, honest, I'll update tomorrow! TFL x
